SI Cilj sestankov je predstavnike regij obvestiti o napredku in dosežkih projekta LIFE BioTHOP. V letu 2019 in 2020 hmeljarji v Spodnji Savinjski dolini uporabljajo PLA vrvico projekta LIFe BioTHOP. Vrvica ima odlične lastnosti za pridelavo hmelja. V letu 2021 načrtujemo preizkus BioTHOP vrvice na površini 1 ha tudi v preostalih regijah v Sloveniji, Avstriji in na Češkem. IHPS je predstavil dobre izkušnje kompostiranja v sezoni 2019, medtem ko kompostiranje v sezoni 2020 še vedno poteka. Vrvica se v dobrih pogojih razgradi v kompost in tako uporabi kot gnojilo.
EN The goal of this meetings was to inform the representatives of the replicative regions about the progress and achievements of the LIFE BioTHOP project. In 2019 and 2020, hop growers in the Lower Savinja Valley used the PLA twine of the LIFE BioTHOP project. The twine has excellent properties for hops growing. In 2021, we plan to test the BioTHOP twine on an area of 1 ha of hop crops in the replicative regions in Slovenia, Austria and the Czech Republic. IHPS presented the composting experience in the 2019 season, whereas the 2020 season composting processes are still ongoing. The twine decomposes into compost under good conditions and can be used as fertilizer.
