How are planting pots and packaging trays from hops and biodegradable twine made? With the introduction of a biodegradable twine that provides support to hops in growth, hops, after picking cones from hops, become the basic raw material for biodegradable planting pots and biodegradable bottle packaging. These products can be decomposed during composting and thus close the circle to the agricultural economy – the circular economy. The importance of a bio-circular economy is to predict before the production of a product how the product will decompose in nature when the product becomes waste. The LIFE BioTHOP project is implemented by 7 partners from 5 EU countries and coordinated by The Slovenian Institute of Hop Research and Brewing of Slovenia. More at: https://www.life-biothop.eu.

SLO BIOPLASTIKA IN BIORAZGRADLJIVA EMBALAŽA IZ HMELJEVINE IZ SAVINJSKE – Biokrožno gospodarstvo v praksi – primer LIFE BiOTHOP med 9.30 in 11.30 / dvorana 3 na Pomurskem sejmu Gornja Radgona . Potrebna je vstopnica za sejem.

Predavata: dr. Barbara Čeh, IHPS in dr.
